Key Responsibilities:-
As a Local Case Intake Advisor at AstraZeneca, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and processing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in compliance with company standards and PV regulations.
- Ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant safety case handling.
- Monitoring and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) for case intake.
- Supporting audits, inspections, and adherence to SOPs and regulatory expectations.
- Staying updated with local and global PV regulations.
- Collaborating with global safety teams for seamless case intake operations.
For professionals with leadership potential, there is scope to lead local teams handling intake for markets such as Japan, requiring additional regulatory expertise and bilingual communication.
Required Qualifications:-
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or related fields.
- 2–5 years of Pharmacovigilance experience, preferably in case intake and ICSR processing.
- Strong knowledge of drug safety regulations and PV reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English (Japanese proficiency is an advantage).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hybrid environment.
